Business Entry Point Initiative

The Business Entry Point Initiative is funded by the Australian Government and coordinated by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, with the support of state and territory governments. It is overseen by the Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency and Minister for Industry and Innovation, Greg Combet, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, Chris Evans, the Minister for Manufacturing and Minister for Defence Materiel, Kim Carr, and the Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Small Business, and Minister for Sport, Mark Arbib.

Through the Initiative, the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research manages the business.gov.au website and also develops technical solutions to transform the way that business interacts with the whole of government.
